The research is clear - spending time outside has healing benefits for the mind, body, and spirit. As a starting point for diabetes prevention & management, the CDC recommends walking for 30 minutes per day, five days per week. You don’t have to have to travel far to experience the healing power of nature, you can do this in the city or town where you work, live, or play.
